- Dr. Ghonaim
has earned extensive educational credentials in the area of aerospace
law obtaining his Master of Laws and Doctorate of Laws from the Institute
of Air and Space Law of McGill University in Montreal where he was also
a researcher and lecturer for four years.
- In addition
to his aviation law qualifications, Dr. Ghonaim earned his License en
droit from the Faculty of Law in Cairo.
- Prior
to pursuing his Master and Doctorate degrees, Mr. Ghonaim worked in
private practice and with the Egyptian Defense Ministry Juridical Department
for six years.
- Dr. Ghonaim
is presently engaged in private practice in Kuwait.

Experience
Record:

- Dr. Ghonaim
has a wealth of experience in corporate and commercial law in Egypt
and now more recently in Kuwait, combined with extensive knowledge of
international aviation law.
- Following
his graduation from law school, Dr. Ghonaim spent his two years military
tour of duty working in the Juridical Department of the Egyptian Defence
Ministry.
- From
1981 to 1985, Dr. Ghonaim practised corporate and commercial law in
private practice in Cairo where he was involved in international law,
aviation law, maritime law, commercial law and company law. He was often
retained to engage in negotiation of behalf of his clients with various
key government ministries.
- His clients
have included Carrier Corporation, Hong Kong Bank, General Motors, Kodak
Ltd., D.H.L. Courier, The Faisal Islamic Bank and AT&T.;
- From
1985 to 1995, Dr. Ghonaim worked in a variety of research and teaching
capacities with the Institute of Air & Space Law in Montreal while earning
his Masters and Doctorate degrees.
- Since
returning to Cairo, Dr. Ghonaim has been engaged in private legal practice
concentrating on corporate and commercial law.
