Experience Record:

  • During his undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, Mr. Veall was awarded an Arabic Language Study Scholarship and attended a 1½ year intensive language training course at Kuwait University.
  • Following the completion of his Master of Arts degree, Mr. Veall joined a Canadian law firm as assistant to a corporate/commercial lawyer.
  • In 1990, he returned to the United Kingdom to commence law studies at the University College of Wales in Aberystwyth and went on to complete the Law Society Finals Course in 1993 at the College of Law.
  • As a Trainee Solicitor with the London law firm of Fox & Gibbons, Mr. Veall worked closely with the Senior Partner in the corporate/commercial department and was seconded for three months to the Republic of Yemen where he was extensively involved in an ICC construction arbitration.
  • In 1995, Mr. Veall accepted a position with the U.K. firm of Berrymans Lace Mawer to head the corporate/commercial department of their Dubai Regional Office.
  • Mr. Veall joined Donald H. Bunker and Associates in September 1997 where he specialises in general commercial aviation and finance law with a particular focus on corporate aircraft.
